Broadcasting to Slack
Alerting participants of new and exciting stories to share is a great way to promote program engagement. In addition to email and push notifications, you can broadcast stories to Slack channels, inviting advocates back into Bambu.
Connect a Slack Account
Navigate Company Settings > General. In the section Enable broadcasting to Slack, select Connect to Slack.
You will then be prompted to enter your Slack Domain. When you have submitted the domain, confirm authorization.
Note: You can find your Slack Domain within your profile, i.e. bambu-slackdemo.com.
Broadcasting a Story to Slack
To broadcast a Story within Sprout, select the story then navigate > Broadcast > select Slack and choose the proper public channel > Send Broadcast.
A link and preview of the story will appear in the selected public Slack channel. Clicking on the link will take an advocate back to Bambu, where they can read the content and share across networks.
