Introduction to Bambu Reporting

Bambu offers a numbers of different reports to help you better understand your team's sharing habits and how content performs. Use this to help shape your ongoing advocacy efforts, as well as hone your overall content strategy so you can find what resonates with your team.

This article will provide a brief overview of the reporting options available to you in Bambu.

Getting Started

Reports are accessible via the left panel under the Reports section.

Report Glossaries

Each report offers a unique set of stats to use to gauge your advocacy program's effectiveness. If you are ever confused as to how a certain metric is defined, click Screen_Shot_2018-06-01_at_4.32.48_PM.png in the upper-right corner to see a glossary of terms for the current report.

Date Range

You can choose the date range for a report by clicking the button in the upper-right corner of any report.

Note: If you navigate between different reports, the previously chosen date range will stay persistent.

General Report

The General Report shows the amount of active Stories, how many shares they received, and how many users shared those Stories.

Tip: Click on TwitterFacebook or LinkedIn in the Shares by network section to toggle the display of each of these networks on the graph to easily hone in on network specific performance.

Content Report

The Content Report breaks down Stories by number of days active in Bambu, as well as views, shares, potential reach, engagements and clicks.

You can sort the content breakdown by shareable and internal content.

This report can be filtered by Curator, User Role, Team and Tags by clicking the corresponding buttons at the top of the page.

It can also be exported to CSV by clicking the Export CSV button in the upper-right corner of the page.

User Report

The User Report shows the percent of active users, their average number of shares, as well as a breakdown by Teams and individual users of shares and potential reach.

This report can be filtered by User Role and Teams by clicking the corresponding buttons at the top of the page.

It can also be exported to CSV by clicking the Export CSV button in the upper-right corner of the page.

Curator Report

The Curator Report compares participation of all curators regardless of role in the organization and analyzes the impact of each.

It can be exported to CSV by clicking the Export CSV button in the upper-right corner of the page.

Distribution Report

The Distribution Report displays open, click and social share data for emails - and the content therein - sent from Bambu. Please note data takes one day to effectively propagate after an email send.
